We are thrilled to welcome Joe McIlwaine to Clarity Wealth Limited as our new Trainee Financial Planner/Adviser. Joe brings a wealth of experience and a diverse background in both financial services and customer relations, making him a valuable addition to our team.
Joe is a Level 4 qualified finance professional with over three years of experience in the financial services industry, including a recent role as a Technical Services Consultant at Tenet Group Ltd. In this role, he provided crucial support to financial advisers, specialising in complex financial products such as VCTs, EIS, and structured investment products. His keen attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were demonstrated by consistently achieving top customer satisfaction ratings and improving service delivery processes.
Before his technical role, Joe excelled as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser, where he provided whole-of-market advice in a high-volume environment. His ability to lead, train, and support a team, coupled with his proactive approach to driving improvement, has proven his capability to contribute significantly to our firm’s success.
Joe’s background also includes extensive experience in the property industry, where he honed his sales and customer service skills. This diverse expertise, combined with his strong communication, problem-solving abilities, and technical knowledge, will enable Joe to offer our clients tailored, expert advice that meets their unique needs.
But there’s more to Joe than just his professional expertise. Outside of work, Joe is a true Yorkshire enthusiast who enjoys socialising with friends and family and exploring the region’s many wonderful breweries. An avid hiker, Joe’s favourite destination is the stunning Snowdonia, where he finds peace and challenge in nature.
Joe’s love for the outdoors extends to his garden, where he applies the skills he learned while studying horticulture after leaving school. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, whether it’s tending to his plants or taking on the latest project in his home renovation.
