I have worked in the financial services industry for over 3 years, starting off as a mortgage and protection adviser and then in a technical role supporting advisers with interesting and complex financial planning scenarios. I understand that there is no ‘one size fits all’ solution for clients, and that my advice and support should be holistic, enabling clients to achieve their goals. Financial planning is always changing, and I am passionate about keeping up to date with how these changes impact clients, as well as continuing to develop professionally by way of additional studies.

Outside of work, my time is mostly spent socialising with friends and family, visiting the many wonderful breweries that Yorkshire has to offer and hiking- my favourite location for this is Snowdonia! I always enjoy getting my hands dirty in the garden (I studied horticulture when I left school) and learning practical skills- which are currently being put to test on renovating my home!

I also like to play racket sports, mainly badminton and squash, and when time allows, a round of golf- although I could do with a lot more practice…
